How to Search Edgefield County Court Records

The main online path for Edgefield County court records is the South Carolina Judicial Branch Case Records Search page and the direct Edgefield Public Index. The state page lists Edgefield County under Circuit Number 11 and County Number 19, then routes users to the county case-record system. The Public Index is the best starting point for Circuit Court and Magistrate Court case information, including Common Pleas civil cases, General Sessions criminal cases, and summary-court matters where public data is available.

Use a normal browser with cookies and JavaScript enabled. The state search page warns that case details may require pop-up access, and automated or nonstandard access can fail. Public Index results are case metadata, not a certified-copy service. For documents that do not appear online, use the Edgefield County Clerk of Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court, or Archives depending on the record type.

Restricted Edgefield County Court Records
